Hi, my name is Vicki Slayton. I have a BSIS in
Interdisciplinary Studies and I am certified to teach EC-6. I am currently a graduate student at Texas A&M- Commerce perusing a Masters Degree in
Elementary Education.I am a proud mother of a daughter age 20, and a son who is 17. I also have a beautiful baby granddaughter named Serenity Aurora (my little princess).
It must first be acknowledged that your webpage is very well developed and appealing to look at.
ReplyDeleteI understand completely with your initial view of educational technology prior to participating in these courses. My outlook was very similar. Technology in our classroom because it is so limited and can never be replaced or repaired when an issue arises, we take great care of. This in turn can make teachers hesitant to allow student use. It is great to see that you saw the effectiveness and technology and that encouraged you to increase your knowledge on its effective implementation in the classroom.
Also thank you for your inclusion of the Dick and Carey Model. I enjoy reviewing different models of learning to reflect and guide my own teaching.
